You missed a key point to this text that any jew at the time would have noticed. The woman goes to Jesus and touches Jesus' clothes, or more specifically his prayer shawl. Actually most likely she touched the tzitzit (The braid of knots) on the shawl because of the Malachi reference that their will be healing in the messiahs wings which this article of clothing was called at this time. The only women that could touch this part of clothing was the wife or the daughter of the one wearing the shawl. Jesus calls her daughter to show her and the crowd that she did not disrespect him and that he accepts her act of faith.

What a powerful study lesson! Jarius had wealth, yet he couldn't save his daughter because she was dying. The woman with the issue of blood was getting worse after giving all her money to doctors. Faith moves God! I love the fact that Jesus could discern this one woman's touch. He focuses on her faith and set her free from her 12 years of suffering and shame. Awesome!

Blessings be unto you!

Great study! Isn't it interesting that which went out of Jesus, stopped that which was coming out of the woman. And then, there is the patience of Jairus, who came to Jesus before this woman touched the Savior. Jairus could have reacted harshly because this woman was healed before Jesus could physically get to his daughter, but didn't. What FAITH!
