Debates may not be as prevalent as they once were, but Dad has been having several. He debated a Baptist in Chicago in 2006. He had another debate with a Baptist in Denton, Texas in 2008. Too bad folk, in general, don't seem as interested in religious controversy and getting to the truth of the matter as they once were. Perhaps the pendulum will swing there again--where it needs to be--some day. My fear is that it may take economic or other catastrophe to turn people's thoughts toward God.
